Returns and Cancellations
For European Union customers only. If the following conditions are met;
i) The buyer is a private individual purchasing for his or her own use not connected with a business. ii) No personal contact was made between any officer of the Company and the Buyer. iii) It is within 7 calendar days of placing the order. iv) The Company is notified by telephone or fax during normal working hours.
In addition, if the goods have been delivered;
v) The goods are unused, unmarked, undamaged and of re-saleable quality. (Note that assembly of any kind marks some of the components and renders them not of saleable quality). vi) The goods are re-wrapped in their original packaging or to an equivalent standard. vii) The Return of Goods Form is included.
Then the European Union Distance Selling Directive allows a cancellation of the order.
If the goods have not been dispatched, cancellation will incur no charges.
If the goods have been delivered and the Buyer returns at their risk, the full purchase price less the original transportation cost will be refunded. If the Company collects, the full purchase price less the outward and inward transportation costs will be refunded. For European Union business customers, you are covered by the E-Commerce Regulations 2002 but not the Distance Selling Directive so goods returned without the Company's consent will not be accepted for credit. Where goods are returned with the Company's consent by prior arrangement in writing all costs of carriage shall be paid by the Buyer and a minimum restocking charge of 20% of the invoice value of the goods shall be made, provided always that it shall be the responsibility of the Buyer to return the goods to the Company in good and saleable condition at the Buyer's risk. For customers outside the European Union - terms to be agreed with the Company prior to return.
